Okay. As some of you know by now, I got my IBM Thinkpad X32. Everything's set up and working correctly except my video software. Since I have no webcam, and don't really use them anyway, I downloaded a program called Virtual Camera, which basically lets the software think that I have a real camera installed. It simply uses a still picture or image that I open with it and transfers it to the program making the recording. In any case, I installed Debut Video Capture Software, which I've used very successfully on my netbook. It saw the virtual camera and I was able to select it, but it slows down my computer so much that it's basically useless. I can barely read anything in the menus and options without. It literally taking a minute or more to start speaking each time I hit the tab key, and once it picks up speed, it's still very slow. I'm not sure if it's because this machine has 512mb of ram (I will change to 2gb when I have the money) or if it's because they updated the software since the last time I used it. So until I can figure this out, can anyone offer me a better sollution? Is there an accessible video maker for XP? I tried Windows Movie Maker but it's confusing me. I don't see any kind of record buttons, though it does have options to save a movie and to stop and play a video. On a related topic, how easy is it to upload a video to Youtube using Firefox? I know it's very difficult with NVDA and Internet Explorer and I've tried with the same browser and other readers with the same result. The mobile feature is really neat, but I'd also like to be able to upload directly, so that I can change the title, add tags, select the category etc.
